Rise Urban progressed a subdivision approval to deliver a first stage subdivision of 40 industrial lots, ranging in size from 2,000sqm – 4ha in area, and is now preparing a new structure plan for the remainder of the industrial precinct.

Project Challenges
With a 15 year old structure plan in place, Rise Urban was able to redesign the industrial precinct to better reflect contemporary industrial subdivision design, and then negotiate with State and Local Government to progress a subdivision approval for the first 40 industrial lots without first having to formally update the structure plan. The subdivision process had to overcome a number of challenges including negotiating road connections to the regional freight network, proximity to groundwater, a lack of a reticulated sewer supply, and ensuring a suitable visual interface to the airport as a major tourism hub.
